We are NOW offering the 1.8T VW Turbo inline 4 cylinder engine for a conversion option in your VW Vanagon. This engine has been proven for many years in the VW Jetta, New Beetle, Passat and Golf’s/GTI as well as Audi TT, A4/A6 Quattro and are Extremely Reliable Engines. They are also classed as the only Turbo Engine with a Ultra Low Emissions grade for California. Stock horse power out of these engines is 180 and 174 ft. lbs. of torque with room to spare !! This amount of torque is available as low as 1900 RPM. We have been working on this project for some time working out all the legal aspects of the California smog laws.
