Your vehicles suspension system plays a huge role. It not only provides a smooth ride for your comfort but it also helps you control your vehicle safely down the road. Braking is greatly dependent on how well your vehicle recovers from dipping when your brakes are initially applied. Acceleration is also improved (along with fuel mileage) with a properly maintained suspension system.

There is a lot more to a suspension system than shocks or struts. Cars on the road today have sophisticated systems that "tune" your vehicle to hug the road. Many vehicles today have Pneumatic springs and a computer system that monitors every bump on the road that your driving on, and can adjust for those conditions. These are called active suspension systems. More and more vehicles are moving into active suspension systems for safety, control and better fuel mileage.

Your vehicles suspension system is filled with many rubber bushings, pivot joints and knuckles that move up and down, left and right as your tires roll across the road. Through time these parts wear out and cause your tires to want to go in different directions from where your pointing your steering wheel. Not good.. Tires wear out prematurely when your suspension system is not "aligned" properly.

At Stephan's Auto Haus we have the trained technicians that can locate tired worn out suspension parts and replace them to help keep you and family safe on the road.
